[BELGIUM] LIEGE – GROUPE JOST ACQUIRES A MAJORITY STAKE IN D.L. TRILOGIPORT BELGIUM SA
On December 21st, Groupe Jost acquired a majority stake in D.L. Trilogiport Belgium SA, as a logical consequence of its environmental and expansion policy. The installation of JostGroup at the Trilogiport was expected for several weeks.
D.L. Trilogiport Belgium SA (DLT), of which Cetim is a historic shareholder, holds a 30 ha concession in Hermalle-sous-Argenteau, on the edge of the Albert Canal near Liège, on a multimodal logistics platform site (waterway, railway and road).
By entering the capital of DLT and settling down at the multimodal site of Trilogiport, Groupe Jost, which currently employs 2,300 people, is considering an important increase of his international scale in direct connection with the activities that will be developed there.
Cetim and Groupe Jost are pleased with this development which will not only create added value and promote employment in the region but also contribute to the achievement of the objectives pursued by the Port Autonome de Liège and the Walloon Region which have succeeded in turning the logistics activity one of the competitiveness clusters of the Marshall Plan.
